RED BULL'S TRIBUTE LIVERY FOR THE TURKISH GP
Red Bull racing decided to round tribute to a brand that has given them so much: Honda. By choosing the colors representing Honda (the brand's house), they decided to dress up a little bit differently for the Turkish GP. Drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will be driving the car for this event, as well as sporting a uniform to match the car.
The original plan was to use this special livery for the Japanese GP which was unfortunately canceled due to COVID. But as Max Verstappen said during the press conference:
They were going to use the livery anyway for the Japan GP but since it got canceled, what a better place to sport it than in Turkey, country that replaced Japan.
In 2022, Honda and Red Bull Racing will be parting ways but will keep on collaborating occasionally. Together they have achieved 13 victories, 35 podiums, and 11 pole positions. What a better tribute than this to such a special team.
